What’s New in Version 1.3

Facebook Messenger Integration:
Facebook recently introduced tech that makes it possible for 3rd party apps to share content, including audio, as attachments to Facebook Messenger messages. We’ve integrated this tech into Your Personal Announcer so that you can share YPA liners inline with your Messenger communications. This opens up a whole new way to have fun with YPA.

Messaging Themed Categories:
In support of the new messaging feature, we’ve added a whole bunch of messaging themed liners in three new categories: Instant Messaging, TXTSPK and Emotes, and Responses and Sign Offs.

What’s New in Version 1.2

Election Liners:
It’s election season in the United States and to commemorate the event, Your Personal Announcer has recorded 32 politically themed announcements. These timely new liners are divided by party affiliation into two new categories, one for Democrats and one for Republicans, so you can easily express your point of view.

Note – Once the election is over, these new election-themed liners will become stale and irrelevant. Don’t be surprised if they are removed from the next YPA update to make room for more user requested liners.

Today, in the Digital edition of Cynopsis Media, they made a nice mention of Your Personal Announcer under the heading “~ WEBSITE OF THE DAY ~”

“You ever hear a quote or quip or catchphrase from an announcer and wish you could introduce it during those perfect opportunities in conversations, but alas, your voice just does not stack up? It might be just me, but there’s something to be said about creatively making your friends laugh (or annoying them, depending on the friend). For this, let me draw your attention to a new app in the Apple App Store called Your Personal Announcer. It’s as simple as you’d think; voiced by a professional announcer, the app has stockpiled numerous quotes and one-liners for you to use at your disposal, or as the app says, when you need ‘the big announcer voice.’ Queue them up, create a list of favorites if you like, and go bother your friends. After all, why else have an iPhone? Ahem, don’t answer that.”
